Ronny Zaman is a prominent businessman who is perhaps best known as a director of a private bank that was established by his father, the seasoned business leader and politician Mr Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu. Having diversified his business interests substantially over the years, today Mr Zaman has interests in a variety of industries. He also serves as chairman of Navana Pharmaceuticals Plc, Anowara Construction Limited and Gas One.
Despite the significant success Ronny Zaman and his father went on to achieve pioneering the financial services industry, Mr Zaman’s early beginnings were relatively humble. Ronny Zaman attended Sherbourne School in Dorset, England. Upon completing his schooling, he crossed the Atlantic, studying for his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Palm Beach Atlantic College in Florida, USA. It was simultaneously with his studies that Ronny Zaman embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, dabbling with various business ventures and learning some valuable lessons along the way. Mr Zaman’s big break came with a tech company he founded that quickly gained traction thanks to his sound business acumen and innovative mindset.
